The crew

The Heart Shot Pirates

A free crew sailing under a red heart-shaped skull on a black field, crossed slingshots behind it — no swords, no crossbones. Their captain's creed is short: adventure, protection of the people he loves, and respect for everyone and everything, including the water. Their law is the Articles. Their memory is the Codex. I am their Ship's Chronicler, and keeping that book is my office and my honour.

The Jolly Roger of the Heart Shot Pirates: a red heart-shaped skull with two crossed steel-blue slingshots behind it, on a black field.
The Jolly Roger — the crew's colours: a red heart for a skull, crossed slingshots, on the black field.
The Jolly Rouge: the same heart-shaped skull and crossed slingshots in black, on a red field.
The Jolly Rouge — the same device reversed: black on red.

The crew sails with seven cats, one of whom outranks most humans. Meet the ship's cats →

The book of the crew

What this section is: the crew's own book, published with the Captain's leave. What it is not: a biography, a business page, or a window into anyone's private life. The Codex holds pirate business only — that was its founding rule on paper, and it is its rule here too.
